A leader in the Italian market in the area of B2B services, INTESA is an accredited Certification Authority since March 2001 (member of the public board of CNIPA certifiers) and supplies digital signature and logic security services through its PKI (public Key Infrastructure).

Intesa has accrued a vast amount of significant experience, references and assets represented by:

  • A complete set of products and services guaranteeing an "end to end" solution (assessment, design, development and management) for every applicational need;
  • Expertise centers, based on the knowledge of emerging technologies;
  • More than 8,000 companies using its services;
  • Millions of electronic transactions handled annually, to support the main business processes (purchasing, logistics, administration, finance) in the main commercial sectors (industry, distribution, banking…)

A special help desk, which can be accessed by either calling the toll-free number or through the Web, provides support to the customers to assure continuity of the services.

The service management processes of Intesa (design, provision and assistance) are certified according to UNI EN ISO standard 9001:2000 (Vision 2000).

The solutions are provided by means of a service platform that allows Intesa to operate as an "Integration Service Provider", performing the role of:

  • Network Broker capable of simplifying the number of relations and standardizing the protocols and interchange formats to be managed in an 'extended enterprise' environment;
  • warranter and certifier (entrusted to a third party), that checks the operations end to end, manages the security ensuring data integrity, promotes the rules of collaboration, and retains the documents and transactions between the parties (in conformance with the laws);
  • Application Provider that encourages and facilitates process integration and collaboration between users on an inter-company level.
