Turin, February 17, 2026 <\/strong>\u2013 \u00a0Intesa, a Kyndryl Company, announces its participation in the\u00a0WE BUILD Consortium<\/em>, a major European initiative bringing together over 180 public bodies, private companies, and academic institutions to strengthen Europe\u2019s digital identity ecosystem. Selected by the European Commission for the\u00a0Large Scale Pilots<\/em>\u00a0dedicated to the\u00a0EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW)<\/em>, the consortium will develop 13 innovative use cases, including international e-invoicing integrated with corporate digital wallets via the Peppol network <\/strong>(Work Package 2, Use Case 5<\/em>) and, more broadly, other use cases related to the emerging\u00a0Business Wallet<\/em>\u00a0ecosystem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Intesa\u2019s involvement in this specific use case addresses the growing need for interoperability, efficiency, and security in invoicing processes between European businesses and between businesses and public administrations<\/strong>. The goal is to test, within a collaborative and pan-European framework, the feasibility of issuing and receiving standardized electronic invoices through interoperable channels such as Peppol, directly connecting corporate information systems with the EUDIW digital wallet. This integration between the wallet and Peppol aims to ensure transaction traceability, verified identity and signing authority of involved parties, and full compliance with EU anti-money laundering and tax regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The pilot, involving companies and public bodies from various Member States, is designed to simplify both accounts receivable and payable processes, reduce time and costs, promote transparency, and facilitate automated data verification.
