The POTENTIAL Consortium ready to start the project with the EC and all LSPs
On May 16th, 2023, the POTENTIAL Consortium signed the Grant Agreement with the European Union (EU), setting an official milestone for the start of the project with all LSPs.
Since the selection by the European Commission in December 2022, all POTENTIAL members have collectively conducted the Grant Agreement preparation phase, complying with administrative requirements and answering the evaluation summary report from the European Commission.
The signature of the Grant Agreement marks a step further for building POTENTIAL’s Uses Cases for cross-border testing of the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW). Intesa, a Kyndryl Company collectively with all POTENTIAL members, is thrilled to engage more concretely into the implementation of the six Use Cases.*
With this funding, POTENTIAL can now move forward into the deployment phase that has been launched on the 1st of April 2023.
The kick-off meetings in June marked an official start for building POTENTIAL’s Uses Cases for cross-border testing of the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW), in close collaboration with the EC.
