Intesa, a Kyndryl Company, obtains Open ES rating

Stakeholders will now be able to verify the ESG positioning of the digital service provider

Turin, 10th December 2025 – Intesa, a Kyndryl Company, a leading Italian Qualified Trust Service Provider and Benefit Corporations, has certified its sustainability rating on Open ES, the platform that allows companies to assess and share their ESG performance in a standardized manner. By aligning their metrics with this market-recognized measurement model, all Intesa stakeholders will be able to access the platform to view the score and understand in detail the company’s positioning in the main areas of sustainability.

Open ES was created with the goal of fostering connections between organizations united by a shared commitment to achieving ESG objectives and creating a virtuous ecosystem. By joining Open ES, companies receive a score based on standard, consistent – and therefore comparable – environmental, social, and control KPIs. This shared, open tool facilitates the analysis of ESG maturity throughout the supply chain, which currently includes more than 39,000 companies across 117 countries and 66 industrial sectors.

Being part of ecosystems like Open ES allows Intesa not only to transparently measure its impact but also to contribute to a more aware, responsible supply chain, in line with the new European ESG guidelines.

Intesa obtained the highest score in the “Social” area dedicated to diversity & inclusion activities, and ethics and integrity, health and safety and protection of human rights, with 231 points out of 300. This result confirms the company’s commitment to creating a fair, safe, and value-driven work environment.

“Sustainability is no longer an option, but a fundamental criterion by which organizations are evaluated, chosen, and recognized by the market. Joining the Open ES platform represents a further step in Intesa’s journey toward a more responsible, open, and forward-looking business model. Making this data available to our customers strengthens trust and promotes shared growth” states Giuseppe Mariani, General Manager of Intesa.

“Our presence on Open ES, particularly the score achieved in the social area, confirms how much Intesa is investing in creating responsible value and integrating ESG principles into our people, processes, and relationships with the local community” commented Massimiliano Tantillo, Brand Experience & ESG Team Leader at Intesa.

With this new milestone, Intesa reaffirms its commitment to combining technological innovation and sustainability, promoting a transparent and collaborative approach along the entire value chain.
