In.Te.S.A. S.p.A. becomes an Accredited Platform (Plateforme Agréée) for the exchange of Electronic Invoices in France
Torino, 18th June 2026 – In.Te.S.A., one of the leading Qualified Trust Service Providers and a supplier of electronic invoicing and EDI services in Italy and Europe, announces that it has obtained accreditation as a Plateforme Agréée (accredited platform) for the exchange of electronic invoices in France. This accreditation, granted by the French Tax Authorities (DGFiP), confirms that Intesa has met all the necessary regulatory and technical standards through a comprehensive validation process, positioning itself among the entities authorised to operate in the French market.
The electronic invoicing system in France is based on a “dual model” that relies both on a central public platform (Portail Public de Facturation – PPF), which will act as the central hub of the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP), and on accredited private partner platforms, known as Plateformes Agréées (PA), which will serve as trusted intermediaries between business partners, ensuring the validity, authenticity and confidentiality of documents shared between other PAs, as well as transmitting e-reporting information to the PPF.
“Obtaining accreditation as a Plateforme Agréée from the DGFiP reflects our commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance and accountability in an increasingly regulated European market. This step enables us to support our clients through the new EU models and the ViDA reform with an approach grounded in operational continuity and full legal certainty in cross-border transactions,” said Marco Broggio, Chief Solution Officer at Intesa.
The adoption of electronic invoicing in France is indeed part of a broader transformation of electronic invoicing at the European level, driven primarily by the ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age) reform. Intesa’s decision to obtain accreditation in France is a direct response to its strategy of supporting the international business of its clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and document interoperability within an increasingly integrated European ecosystem.
The expansion into the French market — where the implementation of electronic invoicing follows a precise schedule of progressive deadlines that will lead, between September 2026 and September 2027, to a nationwide general obligation — allows Intesa to get ahead of European regulatory changes, consolidating the trust of its stakeholders and offering businesses ready, secure and compliant tools to compete at an international level.
